Yetter late than never?

Greetings all! I know I've been a poor Yeti blogger, and I'm ashamed to admit I've been MIA as a result of a beautiful, yet emotionally vapid young Yeti named Marci. You see, about two years ago, I met her on a dating Web site called "PlentyofYeti.com." When I first saw her profile picture, I found myself speechless. I started sweating and my heart began to thump in a wild and erratic fashion. At first, I thought I was just hungry and in need of a 7-layer taco with hot sauce; I quickly realized (after scarfing down two of those puppies - to no avail) that taco withdrawals weren't the cause of my physical discomfort. My mind simply could not stop thinking about the profile picture of this lusty looking Yeti with legs as thick as tree trunks. I found myself back on the computer, salsa still hot on my lips, gazing into the eyes of this 7' tall wooly mammoth. I simply had to meet her! My fingers moved across the keyboard in record time. "Dear Yeti Marci. Please, let's meet, eat tacos, and see where things lead us." My mouse hovered over the "send" button as I contemplated what I was doing. Finally, gulping, I took the plunge. And that, my friends, was the beginning of a 26-month whirlwind filled with love, jealousy, highs, lows, and yep, you guessed it... hundreds of tacos! I feel my heart sinking inside me now as I consider what I found - and lost - in such a relatively short amount of time. Marci - you stole my heart and you covered it in the sweet sauce of love. And now, you're gone. And all I've got left are two dozen TB tacos to drown my sorrows in. If I wasn't so low on tacos, I would continue telling you the story of our love's demise. But alas, TB is calling my name. To be continued.... Yours always, Yeti Ben

Yeti Ben here. Happy Friday! It's been a long week and truthfully, I can't wait to start the weekend. I must apologize to some of my friends. Blogger is malfunctioning and not capturing some of your comments (or mine). So I must address them in a new post. :D Heather, I'm so pleased to hear from you! And might I add, you are exceptionally beautiful. If you were just a little more hairy, I'd invite you to chat over a few beef and cheese tacos! But I digress. The short answer to your first question, "Do you ever eat other foods besides tacos?" is no. I used to try to add some variety to my diet, by eating Cheetos for breakfast and fruit roll-ups for snacks, but they never really satisfied me the way a finely prepared taco could. But Heather, you are right! Yetis are famous for their love for donuts. I am a huge Boston creme fan (it's the one exception to my taco-only diet). It's my favorite treat after seven double beef tacos (hold the lettuce)! As for hot pockets, I can't stand anything processed. And they come frozen! Hot Pockets just can't compete the delectable freshness of the T.B. menu (For those of you who are new to my site, T.B. stands for "Taco Bell"! Welcome ALL!). As for your "Bigfoot" comment, well don't worry. I know you didn't meant to offend me or my species. But it IS a sore subject. There is so much misinformation about us! For example, did you know that yetis have amazing reflexes which makes us exceptional at table tennis? It's true! Keep reading, and you'll learn a lot more. Have a taco-filled weekend everyone, and please, stay out of trouble. ;-D Fondly, yeti Ben.

Tacos

Hello! Welcome to my blog. I am Ben, the taco-eating yeti. What is a yeti, you might ask? Well, it will be my pleasure to explain. yet·i/ˈyetē/ Noun: A large hairy creature resembling a human or bear, said to live in the highest part of the Himalayas. I am actually not from the Himilayas directly. I was born in the United States, so I prefer to be called a Himilayan-American. I'll try to keep this blog p.c. I hope you can clean it up when leaving comments, etc. Thank you! Anyway, the whole point of this blog is to keep you abreast of my taco-eating activities and help you understand what it's like to be an agoraphobic yeti. Not many people understand or sympathize with yetis. They think we are large, hairy, and scary. Although the first two are correct, the third is absolutely, 100% false. Yetis are far from scary animals. Just look at my photo (pretty cute, eh?). Do I look scary to you? No. I'm just a simple yeti eating a delicious crunchy taco with HOT sauce from the fine establishment known as Taco Bell. Taco Bell is a wonderful restaurant. They cater to many species, not just yetis. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the food is just delightful! I've never had a bad meal at Taco Bell. Have you? I'd like to hear your thoughts. Best, yeti Ben.
